Purpose: to inform U.S. citizens about developing nations

The National Peace Corps Association works to inform the public about conditions in developing countries and about the goals of the Peace Corps. The association’s members include Peace Corps staff and volunteers who have returned to the United States after completing overseas duty. The association sponsors information fairs and educational programs as well as maintaining a speakers’ bureau. Among the association’s many publications are The Advocate, Group Leaders Digest, and World View Magazine.
